Jodi Crain
Fellowship Group Co-Leader
BTh (SMBC)
Jodi became a Christian in her teenage years while growing up in Sydney. While working as a makeup artist, Jodi studied at Anglican Youthworks college and SMBC as a way of deepening her understanding of the Bible - without really planning on going into vocational ministry. God had other plans. After college Jodi worked with the AFES in Sydney before being an associate with CMS in the Gulf region.
On returning to Sydney, Jodi worked as chaplain in an Anglican girls' school before stepping back from vocational ministry to focus on parenting the four children that God has entrusted her to care for with her husband Steve. As a family, they attend St Barnabas Anglican Church in Broadway (where Steve is the Music minister).
In her spare time, Jodi can be found working her way through a pile of books (mainly fiction or of the cooking variety), busy sewing a sustainable wardrobe or out on the road (or on zwift) on her beloved Trek dreaming that she’s following the Tour de France or the Giro around Europe.
Jodi loves doing life, in all its messy complexities, alongside others and is looking forward to being a part of the broader SMBC community.
