Perhaps the idea of ANZAC Day in the Australian heart is changing. Is it an important occasion to honour our fallen, or an outdated glorification of war? Is it a valuable expression of transcendence in an increasingly secular Australia? What do we make of prayers and hymns in Anzac services? Kirk Patston and Pete Ritchie will draw on history, theology and Pete’s military pastoral experience to consider how Christians might helpfully engage with this unique day.
