Dr Pauline Golder
Visiting Lecturer
DipBib, BSc, DipDivMiss, DipEtudFr, DMin(Mission & Education), GC (Higher Education)
Pauline worked in West Africa with SIM for over 25 years in administration, discipleship, and theological and missiological education. She taught and consulted in educational planning in institutions long-term in Benin and Burkina Faso, and short-term in Australia, USA, Haiti and Ivory Coast. She also appreciated the privilege of getting a wider view of missions and church work as a member of several national and international committees with SIM, theological institutions, and church and missions associations.
Her major teaching areas have been Bible, anthropology/cross-cultural issues, adult education, and TESL; mostly using the French and the Fon languages. She was involved in the planning of and ongoing leadership of two vernacular Bible institutes, and revision of curriculum of others as director for one institution and academic director of another.
She has recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education while pioneering a new joint international ministry with SIM, ICETE Academy and Overseas Council Australia in professional development for theological educators, focussing on French-speaking Africa.
