Part Time Event Coordinator
Great events are a vital part of the SMBC ministry. Our Event Coordinator role plays a critical part in making these events memorable and significant. If you love making Jesus known, are an active member of your local church, get a buzz out of organising, and enjoy:
- working with others to put on great events;
- making all the little details count for the people who attend events;
- keeping event teams on track and well organised,
then we'd love to hear from you about this role!
The Event Coordinator role is expected to be 1.5 days per week on average across the year with peaks associated with major events.
Additionally, there's some flexibility about where and when the work can be done while maintaining a physical presence at the College.

Full-Time Engagement Manager
Are you a seasoned marketing leader keen to advance the work of the gospel across the globe?
We're seeking a skilled marketer who can significantly contribute to the ministry of SMBC by promoting the vital work of the College and attracting prospective students.
The person we’re searching for will demonstrate a deep Christian faith and passion for the College’s vision and be able to:
- Develop and implement effective strategies for the promotion of the College across diverse channels such as word of mouth and a passionate alumni cohort
- Enable a ‘whole of College’ approach to prospective student engagement
- Implement analytical tools to assess and respond to the effectiveness of marketing and campaign activities
- Lead the development of compelling digital, print and advertising content which aligns with SMBC’s mission and resonates with prospective students
- Oversee promotional events of the College and external SMBC sponsored events
- Provide leadership to the Engagement Team
- Stay ahead of industry trends and adapt strategies as needed

Web Development Officer (Part-Time)
We’re adding to our technology team and searching for someone who is web savvy!
The primary objective of this position is developing and maintaining high-quality web services for SMBC and its staff. If you’re a helpful, problem solving, knowledgeable, organised and collaborative full-stack web developer who loves Jesus, and SMBC’s vision to see thousands of loving skilled graduates bringing the light of Christ to a dark and needy world, then prayerfully get in touch with us – all the details are below!
The primary responsibilities are as follows:
- Contributing to ongoing development, troubleshooting and maintenance of the College’s websites and online services, including leadership of some development projects
- Effective management of website systems in accordance with sound security and risk management principles, including monitoring their efficiency and performance
- Provision of website-related technical support and advice to staff, providing assistance in a warm, friendly and helpful manner
- Maintenance of documentation relating to websites and online services
- Contributing to forward planning and budgeting plans to implement effective change and ongoing quality service delivery
- From time to time, assisting with other technology support tasks
- Understand and comply with SMBC Codes of Conduct, Work Health & Safety, Safe Communities, Privacy and other College policies
