Christian faith is a funny thing. While every Christian has faith, few of us think we have enough of it. But faith is not about me or my faith. It's all about the object of our faith. Faith in Hebrews 11:1-12:3 is focussing on God by keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus. It's believing in what we can't now see, but what we will one day receive, because the one who has promised us is faithful. And to help us, reach the finish and receive our unseen reward, we're being urged on by a great cloud of witnesses who have gone before us. So, we can have complete confidence to finish if we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus because he is the pioneer and perfecter of our faith.
