Powerful people advertise themselves by the way they arrive. But when Jesus rides into Jerusalem, he chooses a donkey. To announce a message of peace. And even in the face of Jerusalem's rejection, Jesus cries tears at the thought of judgement. As we finally arrive at the end of our journey to Jerusalem, the merciful character of Jesus is more fully revealed.
